This page brings together the key public documents that explain the legal foundation, purpose and direction of Platform One, and how that purpose is being put into practice through community work.
They include:
- Platform One Foundation Charitable Trust Deed — the legal foundation and charitable purposes of the Trust, including the Platform One Foundation Charter & Guiding Principles
- Platform One Foundation Statement of Purpose — the current plain-language explanation of why Platform One exists, what it stands for and what makes its approach different.
- Power-Positive Waiheke — Our 10-Year Community Energy Plan — Our public working plan setting out the longer-term community energy direction being developed through WE Share on Waiheke.
Together, these documents provide a clear starting point for understanding what Platform One is, why it exists and how its purpose is being put into practice.
The Trust Deed remains the Foundation’s legal governing document. The Statement of Purpose explains Platform One’s purpose and direction in plain language and should be read alongside the Trust Deed and Charter & Guiding Principles.
Power-Positive Waiheke is a working plan rather than a fixed promise. It will continue to develop as projects, technology, rules, evidence and community priorities change.
More public resources will be added over time as the work develops.
