WE Share is the name of our Waiheke community energy co-operative model which aspirational goals include community ownership of sustainable energy resources within a circular economic model.

This organisational template and financial model is aligned to agreed goals of Waiheke Energy resilience by 2030 and incorporates an integrated solutions approach including large scale community solar, energy storage, residential and commercial solar, future V2X (electric vehicle / household connections) and innovative energy management technologies.

Among many relationships, we are pleased to support the All Electric Island 2030 Trust and to work transparently with our local electric lines company Vector, to create an innovative and sustainable energy relationship which serves both entities and the greater Waiheke community.

We are facilitators, visionaries, weavers and shapers. We have a Charter, a plan, the technology, the widgets and the will to make this happen and we invite interested leaders in this space to contact us and have a chat about our unique approach to being the seed for the creation of new and sustainable business models of the future.

We are currently engaged in focus group meetings and assessing the wider requests, aspirations and needs being communicated by our community and will soon be putting forth more concrete engagement points which support these works.
