Community Project Circles may form where:

• there is clear community readiness
• needs, leadership, and a coherent plan come together
• alignment with Platform One’s values and ethical safeguards is demonstrated
• the kaupapa can be protected
• independence and non-extraction can be maintained
• the initiative can be safely held within the Platform One governance framework

This approach helps ensure that Community Project Circles grow from real community need and integrity — not ambition, institutional pressure, or external agendas.

A Stewardship Approach — Not a Portfolio

Platform One is not a service provider, programme operator, or consultancy.

It exists as a governance framework and values guardian — a structural home that protects community-led initiatives from political, commercial, or institutional capture.

Each Community Project Circle holds its own initiative, leadership, management, and responsibility.

Platform One’s role is limited to safeguarding the governance conditions that enable that leadership to operate with integrity, independence, and long-term stewardship.
